Welcome to Smiths Green Riding School & Stables

Smiths Green Riding School (formerly Old Hall Riding Stables) has been established since 2004. We are a small, friendly family run business with a dedicated team of trained staff; we pride ourselves on being able to provide a very high standard of service tailored to your individual need.

We are a British Horse Society Approved Riding School, and as such we are able to offer the B.H.S. Progressive Riding Tests for both juniors and adults. The Riding School has a large choice of horses ranging from 11.2 h.h. ponies to 17 h.h. hunter types. All the horses have been specially chosen for their exceptional temperaments and abilities to adapt to individual riders requirements.

We welcome riders from 6 years of age onwards and cater for all abilities, from the complete beginner to the elite rider. Group lessons are kept small at a maximum of 5 clients; individual one to one tuition is also available.

Riding lessons are held in our large indoor ménage, whilst in summer time jumping lessons are held in our outdoor jumping arena. Hacks are also available across Smiths Green Farms 250 acres of farmland, overlooking Cheshire at its finest with the freedom of open spaces.

Throughout the school holidays we run activity days for children and we are a popular venue for birthday parties.
